About Allison Pope, PA-C
Alli joined Pediatric Orthopaedic Associates in August 2015. She grew up in Alpharetta, GA where she attended Wesleyan School. She played varsity tennis, volleyball, and basketball, receiving three state championship rings during her high school career. She also swam year-round growing up and competed on the state and national level.
Ms. Pope received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Georgia. During college, Alli worked at a family practice office and volunteered at a free clinic for underserved individuals. Before beginning her Physician Assistant studies, she worked for 6 months as a physical therapy technician in Athens. She later earned her Masters of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Mercer University in Atlanta, GA.
Throughout clinical rotations, she gained experience in pediatric orthopeadics, adult orthopaedics, NICU, pediatric urgent care, general pediatrics, and rheumatology. While attending PA school, she traveled to Nicaragua and Ecuador for medical mission trips. Since graduating, she has gone to Uganda, Africa to provide medical care to orphaned children. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants as well as the Georgia Academy of Physician Assistants.
Outside of work, Alli enjoys playing tennis with family, paddle-boarding on the water, and spending time with friends.
